Welcome to Kids Connect
Mónika Lubrano has been passionate about children’s growth, development and learning since she was thirteen years old. Her love and desire to teach students has taken her to pursue her career in Early Childhood Education and continue her studies in this area.
Mónika graduated from UNIBE with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She earned a Master’s degree in English as a Second Language from New York University (NYU), where she was part of the highly selective Fulbright Scholar program. In addition, Mónika has earned two Postgraduate degrees, one in Leadership and School Innovation and the other one in Coaching, Emotional Intelligence and PNL from Universidad La Salle in Madrid, Spain.
Prior to founding Kids Connect, Mónika was co-founder and director of a preschool for five years. Mónika has more than 10 years of teaching experience, during which time she was also the founder of a successful afternoon program that supported student’s learning for more than a decade.
Mónika believes that each child has special skills and talents, and that it is the school’s role, to work closely with families to identify, encourage, and promote them. Integrating social emotional learning is key to help children reach their full potential.

Science and Technology are an essential part of a child’s education in the 21st century. Through various projects and investigations based on our Project Based Learning methodology, children learn to think critically, problem solve, collaborate, and use different tools. In this process, children become more interested and develop critical knowledge of the environment in which they live.
